"Women Are Mad" is the hit podcast which invites women to bring their anger

(and many other emotions!) into the conversation.

Featuring guests from Jameela Jamil to Jess Phillips to Jennifer Saunders

(and copious others not beginning with J), WAM has set the airwaves buzzing.

The dream team behind the pod, Salima and Jen, now invite you to bring your own feelings to the table.

And to discover just what your emotional toolkit can do for you.

Where: Spend the day with a small group of like-minded women in the most gorgeous venue

hidden away in the Oxfordshire countryside.

What to expect: Our feelings are our barometer, our compass in stormy seas. In reality, this touchstone is sorely underused. We live very far away from our emotions, moulded and pushed as we are by society, family and work.

By all of the needs, demands and expectations they exert on us.

At Women Are Mad, we’re all about bringing feelings back online. Because they’re so often all we need to make the healthiest, wisest choices about our lives. The answer is frequently right there in front of us. But we’re not trained

to use that emotional data. Instead, we flail; doom scrolling or procrastinating, or hoping our horoscopes will help.

WAM believes that other women are key to reuniting us with ourselves and our feelings.

Imagine spending a day being emotionally held by a sisterhood of likeminded women; generously supported to carefully roam around in your own internal landscape. Coming to remember your own feelings, the emotional

DNA of you, unencumbered by duty and expectations.

And learning how to freely lean on these findings to guide you. Building the internal compass, the toolkit you

can rely on - whatever happens.

Jen and Salima are experts in emotion narration. Jen, trained at the sharp end of forensic psychotherapy, and now having helped hundreds of women in her private practice, knows emotion and how to harness it.

Whilst Salima’s years spent crafting stories and performances, from her career in television and film, equip

her with a catalogue of practical tools to educate you in realising your own emotion narrative.

Jen unearths the feeling, Salima helps you to sculpt it to your benefit.

Across the course of the day, Jen and Salima will help you to deeply tune into and structure your feelings,

in order to articulate them clearly.

This retreat is for you if…

1.   You feel lost and need to rediscover yourself

2.   Your confidence could do with a boost

3.   You have an important life decision to make

4.   You struggle with intense, overwhelming feelings and don’t know how to manage them

5.   You’re feeling creatively blocked

How the day with flow...

10am: Welcome! Grab a cuppa. Find your seat. This is your own safe space for the day.

1030 - 1pm: Morning Masterclass: â€‹

Using our affect (emotional) system to learn to trust our gut. We teach hourly tune-ins through feeling scanning, and the top tips for this. We show you how creativity-productivity-good choices all follow, when we’re tuned in and prioritising our affect system.

We show you how to knit these realities together to form a narrative of the self which feels integrated and whole. Which is made of the parts of our real self, and not the parts we’re told we need to be.

1pm - 2pm: Delicious light lunch

2 - 4pm: Afternoon Masterclass: â€‹

We now scoop these learnings together into The Story of Us. Not the facts. The emotional story. We’re teaching the opposite of small talk - the opposite of superficial, surface realities.

We’re teaching the reality of your internal world.

We are our feelings.

So who are we? Who are you?

How are you going to use your superpower?

430pm: Wrap up the day and say our farewells.
